AV, Video Surveillance and Access Control Support Specialist

Intelligent Solutions is seeking an experienced AV, Video Surveillance and Access Control Support Specialist to join our team. The Support Specialist will be installing, configuring and supporting enterprise environments comprised of the latest Axis IP M, P & Q Series IP Cameras, Milestone DVRs, Emerge Access Control Systems, Polycom Video Conferencing Solutions and professional grade audio visual solutions.

Intelligent Solutions’ AV Services Division provides Traditional and IP Video Surveillance, Physical Access Control, Multimedia and Video Conferencing Solutions to various vertical markets including Municipal, Higher Education, Manufacturing and Logistics, supporting clients in the Chicagoland Area and nationwide.

An ideal candidate would have at least two years of experience working with IP Surveillance systems. Experience with Axis Cameras and Milestone Software, IP networking, wireless networking and or light finish construction is a plus.

IT Help Desk Support Technician – Level 2

Intelligent Solutions is looking to add a sharp, well-spoken, honest, and hard-working Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good technical foundation and embody the core values including Integrity, Determination, Agility, and Helpfulness.

We are industry-agnostic, but specialize in meeting the needs of SMB's in the Healthcare, Manufacturing and Construction vertical markets. Compensation : Salary + Bonuses
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, and the opportunity for raises based on increasing your skill-set and obtaining certifications.


Primary Responsibilities:

  End user support and training
  Set-up/management of all Windows systems & network infrastructure
  Troubleshooting of all systems-related issues
  Network maintenance and security
  Provisioning of new systems as required/resource allocation
  Communicating highly technical information to non-technical clients
  Management of telecommunications (VoIP, cellular, smartphones)
  Installing and configuring PCs and peripheral devices
 

Requirements:

  BS in Computer Science, MIS, etc., or equivalent experience
  Must have reliable transportation
  Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  Thorough knowledge of Windows XP/7
  Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint), 2007, 2010
  Experience rebuilding workstations
  Excellent customer service and communication skills
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  Self-starter, capable of successfully achieving support goals while unsupervised
  Highly reliable and well-organized; capable of balancing several projects and maintaining priorities
  Good team player and knows how to leverage resources
